Rihanna Steps out in pink 80s wear

So we recently saw Bad girl Rihanna step out in these cute pink 80s Bubblegum dress. She looked classy as she had a pink bag and of course a shoe to match. This was in New York. Rihanna definitely knows how to go way back... fashionably.

Kanye West Declares running for president 2020

“Bro. Bro! Listen to the kids. First of all, thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and giving me this award this evening.
And I often think back to the first day I met you also. You know I think about when I’m in the grocery store with my daughter and I have a really great conversation about fresh juice… and at the end they say, ’Oh, you’re not that bad after all!’ And like I think about it sometimes. … It crosses my mind a little bit like when I go to a baseball game and 60,000 people boo me. Crosses my mind a little bit.
And I think if I had to do it all over again what would I have done? Would I have worn a leather shirt? Would I have drank half a bottle of Hennessy and gave the rest of it to the audience? Ya’ll know ya’ll drank that bottle too! If I had a daughter at that time would I have went on stage and grabbed the mic from someone else’s? You know, this arena tomorrow it’s gonna be a completely different setup. Some concert, something like that. The stage will be gone. After that night, the stage was gone, but the effect that it had on people remained.
The … The problem was the contradiction. The contradiction is I do fight for artists, but in that fight I somehow was disrespectful to artists. I didn’t know how to say the right thing, the perfect thing. I just … I sat at the Grammys and saw Justin Timberlake and Cee-Lo lose. Gnarls Barkley and theFutureLove … SexyBackalbum … and Justin, I ain’t trying to put you on blast, but I saw that man in tears, bro. You know, and I was thinking, like, ’He deserved to win Album of the Year

Am Sorry

So yesterday was Thursday, am sorry you cried.
Was kinda busy chasing money when your dreams were denied.
I was born a survivor but never survived.
Now my heart's beating slowly,am loosing my mind.

So the other say was Father's day, am sorry you wept.
Was kinda busy chasing properties, important ones left.
That day was delivery should have gotten a Barbie.
But stores all closed up, and I missed the whole party.

I apologise for the demise of peace in the house.
In the beginning we were laughing but then these days, we shout.
We forgot that all that matters is the Childhood that was needed but in all of all the shouting, am still going out.

Am sorry that the world is messed.
Not my fault but i wonder if we're cursed or blessed.
Hurricanes, Earthquakes, what is this for God sakes.
Enjoy the nature now cus soon it's soon gonna change.

I don't know if you understand this
Cus the truth may be clear and blurry
All the times I tried out but still missed
I have one thing to say, am sorry.

Saturday 29 August 2015

Five hands be coming from different directions
They bringing mic bringing pens and they bring in papers
Popular. It's kinda good to be popular
Everybody know you, that's the only formular.
When they were shouting, me I was making money
When they were suffering, me I was chopping money.
Brother you know that it's not by my power
The Hummer, the Rover it's all cus Jehovah
He got me as usual...

Vic O challenges Phyno to a Rap Battle

So I was dazed after I saw this news because I still am not believing such a thing is happening in God's world.
One of Africa's "Hotshot", Rapper Vic-O said (in an interview with Notjustok) that he would take on a real African Hotshot, Phyno... in a rap battle. We have been waiting for Phyno's response. Perhaps Phyno's scared of the 'After party' crooner. LOL. Anyways, this is not the first time Vic O has done this. Earlier this year, he challenged Drake and Meek Mills to Rap battles and even released a single for them, he remained invisible though. Listen to some of Vic O's "HITS" like 'After Party'.... perhaps only that one will tell you all you need to know.

SHOCKING!! 70 Bodies found in Chicken Truck.

70 Decomposed Bodies have been found in a Truck. The bodies were those of migrants crossing into Germany.
The refrigerated truck had Hungarian number plates and the driver was nowhere to be seen. According to Associated Press, the truck was emblazoned with the logo of a Slovakian chicken processing company, Hyza, whose parent company, Agrofert Holding , said the truck was sold in 2014.
"One can maybe assume that the deaths occurred one-and-a-half to two days ago,”  Hans Peter Doskozil, police chief in the province of Burgenland, told a news conference, adding that "many things" indicated the migrants were already dead when the truck crossed the border.

After reading this, You will never drink Coke again!!

The Coca-cola company is well known for its variation of beverages, most of which have filled the market especially as the name "Coke" [The name used by the general public for Coca-cola] has become not just a household name but a name that rings a bell in every ear... alongside Gala of course. One of the most popular versions being the Coke classic, which 'captures' one at first taste. The company has also tried to reduce the Sugar content in a coke, thus bringing out the Diet Coke and subsequently the Coke Zero. The soft drink however, has potential negative health effects related to the ingredients added to it.

Caffeine, Sugar and Aspartame
Coca-cola drinks, including the Diet Coke, the coke Classic, The Coke Zero and every other thing that bears 'coke' contains nothing less than35 to 47 milligrams of caffeine in every single 12 Oz. serving. Mayoclinic reports that caffeine intake can contribute to physical and psychological symptoms such as anxiety, headaches and yes! Restlessness. And drinking Coke about an hour before sleep will mean you probably wont sleep till an hour after you planned. About the Sugar, Coke has been sued in some developed countries due to its deplorable Sugar content, this means that regular intake of Coke can be a helper to Diabetes. Meanwhile, Aspartame {An ingredient used in Coke} causes several diseases and isnt good for Children.

Dehydration
Coca-cola's caffeine content works as a diuretic, meaning it makes you urinate more often that you would if you weren't consuming it. Overtime, this excessive urination will definitely lead to dehydration especially if you are consuming Coke during or after exercises or sports. By dehydration, we mean the loss of fluid from the system.

Kidney Failure
Since Coke decided to have Coke Zero, people applauded their efforts to create a Sugar free soda. Now what people do not know is that Coke Zero contains large amounts of artificial sweeteners {A LOT. Trust me, if it was not a lot, it would be totally tasteless} and these sweetners do not agree with the Kidney.

Now that's not even all, The Coke we drink everyday decreases the body's metabolism level, it destroys the fat burning cells and this gives way for obesity, Teeth and Bone damage and even Reproduction problems so No! Drop that bottle of Coke, Drink water instead.

Awka- Another Story.

Deep inside the South Eastern parts of the country lies a town inside a capital... Hold on, hold on. That's not how its supposed to start. [clears throat] Anambra State, the state that used to be both a holder of its present self and the current Enugu state, A state that has produced perhaps the most diligent and popular people in the country (If you want a list, Google it...), A state with the 'freshest' governor (If you consider the clean hair carving and the catchy 'Willie is Willingly Working' phrase as fresh), The state that promised to build THREE shopping malls and all three are yet to be seen (Even though Willie IS Working), A State that actually has natural gas... Wait, stop! Gas? We'll get back on that. Yes, My Anambra. Yes, A state with an anthem even better than that of the nation.
But i didn't write this for this. If you've visited Anambra from Enugu State, You wont miss Amansea (Because its kind of like the boarder village) and even if you do (Maybe because of its small size), You definitely will not miss Awka; La Capitol! My Wikipedia tells me that Awka has a rich history. Trust me, that's not my first place of hearing that. There is a long ditty about a young girl who got sick and two villages went to war and about a spirit who appears and teaches the people how to make swords and knives using the art of Blacksmithing (One of the Lucrative Jobs Awka people almost didnt abandon). Am not here to tell you all that. My Wikipedia also tells me that this same Awka with the history and all what not is probably the most underdeveloped capital of a state in the country. Ha!
Was it not my good friend JF Kennedy that told Americans not to put their minds much on what their country will do for them but on what they can do for their country. Great! That is in the United States so at least you get the whole thing in reciprocal. We dont use that down here in Awka... Never did. And i can tell you why.
#1 The State doesn't do anything for the people: In Awka, it seems the government comes there to sleep. As if the government exhausts itself from its work in Nnewi and Onitsha and then come to lay their heads. Nothing goes on! The security in Awka might be commendable down here but not because our Working Willie or the former governor Peter did much to help, its because the people causing the kidnapping found a more lucrative thing to do (One of my Aunties says that Awka youths are jump-jump criminals. When the millitants were making wave in the Niger-Delta, they migrated. when Amnesty was granted, they moved back and joined the  kidnapping business, then they found out Boko Haram was very very good for their image, and now Borno is now Personal hotspot) . The roads are good but the users are not handled. You cant expect the whole place to be safe when market women use the main road as their plaza and hawkers now want to sell to motorists running on 120 km/h. The governor's lodge is just here in Amawbia (in Awka) and he is 'working'.

#2 The People dont do anything for themselves. Have you visited Enugu? I dont need to ask you what you saw. Should we name it? Oakland Amusement Park, Golden Royale, Choices, Pinecrest Schools e.t.c The government sure didnt build that one now did they? Individuals from Awka move to Enugu, Nnewi, Texas, Iraq, ISIS camps and build industries but never in Awka! When the people dont do stuff, the government wont because even the government is full of human beings who handle their individual businesses. The mentality is not there in Awka people to make the place better. Even the influencial ones sit and mope.

#3 The People are not talking. I have noticed that one! Nobody is talking. biko nu, Awka people, is Idi Amin our Governor, or will our police force trace and kill you if you talk? People sit in their houses and lament on how bad the things are but then let me ask a question, If Mr. Akunna isnt employed, he comes home everyday and takes off his anger on Mrs. Akunna (By using her as a punching bag and karate dummy) or comes back and complains all day to the hungry wife and 8 children about how horrible the government is that they couldnt give him a job and all of that nonsense, will Mrs. Akunna be the one to run to the Government house to tell the Governor? Or is she the Special Adviser to the Governor on Unemployed People matters?  People have to stand up and talk! The government is bad quite alright but then we should know they aren't God and that Willie wont be attending his 60th birthday in Aguleri and at the same time finding a job for Mr. Akunna. The government needs to be told what to do at times and Awka people can start by quiet protests {No Violence though, we don't want to be breaking heads and spilling blood on Willie's pavement, People can start special blogs just to criticize the government [Constructive criticism though, We don't want Willie to be arresting people] and stand up for what's right. Thumbs up to the young men that protested earlier this year when BH prisoners were moved to their community. It might not yield results yet but even God knows and will know when people try.

#4 The Traffic Lights ; You might be Laughing Out Loud but To Be Honest, Its horrible when the government doesn't get innovative [I mean am also tired of almost hitting all these traffic warders on the road] but its nerve racking when the government implements a change and it worsens issues. Traffic lights were things we only see abroad and our nursery school teachers seemed to be hopeful because they taught us about it anyways, telling us what each color signifies. One thing we werent taught was that we would have it in Awka, another thing we werent taught was that it would be chaotic. How can you be in Eke Awka (For those who know what it feels like to be driving in that place) and the green light hits and stays for about 30 seconds but the Red insists on stayin 120 Seconds? Willie... Work on this. Thank You.

Willie Is Working... in his dreams.

Hehehe. So, I caught these on Facebook of my governor [Anambra State] taking a 'snooze' on several occations. I mean, it would be natural for one to say he was tipsy but nah... My governor is just either Bored with Anambra problems or just 'sleeping  on duty'. It's an unavoidable phenomenon anyways so Willie Obiano can snooze all he wants.

Weight loss photos of Catrice Survillion

At first i didn't believe it was the same person. Its amazing how far determination can take people. Good Job Cat, Good Job.

Oldest Storey Building in Nigeria.

Hmmm.. If only people lasted like houses. Here is the 170 Years old first storey building, located in Badagary. It was built by the colonial masters back then and its still standing till now. These days we build mansions and they crash within Ten years...

ISIL Demolishes ancient Monastry.

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group has demolished a monastery founded more than 1,500 years ago in the central Syrian province of Homs, close to where it abducted scores Christians earlier this month, The destruction of the Saint Elian Monastery near the town of Qaryatain comes days after ISIL fighters in the city of Palmyra publicly beheaded a respected antiquities scholar who had dedicated his life to studying and overseeing Palmyra's iconic ancient ruins. That leaves us with same questions. What do these terrorists want? Only God will save us ooo.

Donald Trump will receive donations but not in the 'Nigerian' way.

Donald Trump says he'll take donations to his presidential campaigns, but not from lobbyists who will expect something in return.
And he took a shot at another class of influential donors -- hedge fund managers -- saying they "get away with murder" and would have to pay higher taxes if he wins the Republican nomination and is elected. The Billionaire who is well known for his entrepreneurship skills and recurrent controversy has said that he will receive donations from people if they are willing to but [In my own words] not the 'Nigerian' way whereby if you donate a few Billions, A ministry will be waiting for you. Personally, I believe Trump is making a change.

In as much as we haven't heard from her in a long time, we got thrilling news that fomer Miss Global [2011] just got married to her heart-throb. The beautiful Judith Ilechukwu married  Chizoba Anoliefo in a not-too-big wedding. congrats to them.

Suffering and Smiling. {Rap Lines}

I have the courage like Dan in the Lion's den
Because now i should have enough to rep back then
When garri was a luxury, Semovita, sweet honey
You wont know about it bruh but poverty is not funny.
We would rub Vaseline till we've shown.
Because we're suffering, it doesn't mean it should be shown.
Goat skin was the fashion and the in thingg
We were like the hungry birds who would still singg.

I say wait. wetin be our problem?
How we go suffer still dey smile, life kpomkwem?
We no go advertise our pain, but we go stand up, talk true, this kind thing don reach them.
Already some people were far.
While we trekked  to and fro, them they rode in their cars.
We didnt have roof to lay their heads, they lived in Qatar.
When we commit same crime, they release them one time, cus the money flew in but we're behind the bars.

Nonsense.  That was years gone.
Now the game changed.Ha ! Its like so Bourne.
But no revenge. aint a man called God
But in the end, the sufferers are stilled called-
like they made themselves to end up in Surulere
they could have a house in BI if they had the pay-pay
Life's Journey... some wanna go, some wanna come in.
But then the sufferers will never frown, they'll keep on smiling.

                               Nnebe.

BOLT... Again!!!!

Usain Bolt has cleared all doubt on his cheetah attitude when he won the men's 100m race, beating current world's fastest man Joseph Gatlin having run the race within just 9.67 seconds. I mean, some people can barely breathe with that short time. Bolt has gained a silver medal for himself. lol, the brommel guy in the picture though, smiling and failing.

The oro deity.

Ooni of ife died a few days ago, leaving the throne unoccupied... for the meantime. now i know that if we were to talk about a tribe in Nigeria that embraces their culture and traditions like a child embraces his mother on the first day of Kindergarten, it should be the Yorubas. These people were the first in Nigeria to have direct  contact with civilization, they have the most educated individuals, they produce the country's intelligentsia on a regular and they have also embraced  civility. This doesnt stop the Osun Osogbo festival, or the Orisha... and it {as we might have seen recently} doesnt stop the Ooni from being buried the Yoruba way. Now am not Yoruba and except Lagos, i know only very little about Yoruba Lands. The oro is a cult that didnt start existing in Yoruba, it started a long time ago in Tahiti....GOOGLE IT. And since am not Yoruba, i hardly know a thing about it. i am sure the Yoruba ones that are not directly involved in the cult hardly know a thing about it. why?.Because a cult isn't child play over there. Your anxiety and curiosity has limits to reach and stop. The yorubas don't make their gods worthless by releasing every sacred detail to the world so the people will tweet it. As far as spilling blood isnt involved in the oro rites, i believe it should be something for other traditions to emulate. Meanw
hile we pray that the Ooni's spirit travelsto the ancestors in peace.
